ok i sure everyone here has herd of the new phone apple has made the iphone. i really want it for christmas but i herd that its not so good and after when you have the phone and touching the screen that the screen goes completly black or something but i really want it because it can do so much stuff than a regular phone can do, and its all touch screen which i like about it. so if you guys can give me some advice about it and what you think about it, or if you have you can tell me about it (if you like it or not). that would be nice. thanks

i dont like it cause it doesent have a solid key board. it will get real old real quick having to type like that. im addicted to my sidekick and i can type really fast but i tried on the iphone and it takes forever

I would'nt waste my money on it. Save your money, get a regular phone. I don't think a teenager needs a phone that is that expensive or has that much stuff on it.

Yea the keyboard is messed up but you'll get used to it

I would get a warrenty(sp) on the phone so if it does break you can always get a new one.

When my current contract ends im going to try and talk my parents into getting me one so i say yes get one

i love texting on her phone yeah it takes time getting use to but so does typing on any other kind of phone you buy

If you already have a phone, get an iPod Touch. I have a Touch because I like all the music storage. My friend has an iPhone, they're cool. I have no idea what you're talking about with the problems with it - there really aren't any.

There are problems with the iphone. Just because you havent had a problem with it doesn't mean there are no problems with it. There are tons of problems with it and there is a ton of evidence for that with a quick google search. Also there is nothing that phone can do that most other phone can't do.

I was shopping yesterday and they had them out in the phone shops to play about with. I found it quite hard to use, maybes I just needed the instructions. I wouldn't want one though, I prefer smaller phones, it's too big for me.

I got the iPhone the first day it came out and in the past... 5 months that I have had it, this phone has not given me any issues. It was kind of difficult at first to get used to the touch-screen, but to me it was much easier to text and type then on a regular cell phone because I was never all that great at texting on a cell phone to begin with. My fingers are small so maybe it is just easier for me to press the keys. I find it to be an extremely easy phone to use. Not only is it a great phone, but the camera is wonderful! I have gone on four or five trips and have at least 200 pictures on my phone. The internet is truly the internet, I can view just about any site that I want anywhere I want. I view the wide selection of youtube videos on my phone daily. The wheather feature directly on the main menu is so nice when I am not sure if it will be hot or cold. Googlemap is on my phone.. that is fun and useful. And of course the iPod on this phone is spectacular. When watching a movie in the car it is lovely. This phone does so many things and to me it was worth every penny that I had to pay for it. Yet this is only my opinion. At the same time unlimited cingular internet is anywhere from 50 to 80 dollars ( I don't remember if it has gone down recently because at one point it was 80 ) While the internet plus 200 texts is 20 dollars for the iphone and goes up 10 dollars for 1000 texts and then another 10 dollars for unlimted texting which means you are paying far less for texting and internet with the iPhone while you are paying much more for just internet on any other smart phone for cingular. Also if you plan on getting the iPhone I would suggest watching the turitials on the apple website before purchasing or recieving the phone because that is very helpful in figuring out the phone's features before you even have it. i dunno.. i drop my phone all the time.. and i like the fact that i dont care if it breaks or not since its not expensive... but if i had an ipone.. MASSIVE PARANOIA!!

I have a red incase case for my iphone that goes right around the brim of the phone.. ive dropped it a few times and nothing has happened to it. Plus there is warranty if the phone breaks.
