the new appication on iPhones that you can record memos records as m4a files and you can email these to someone. Anyway is there a way to convert these itunes m4a flies to mp3s? I was thinking of using my iPhone to record Walt Disney World in park audio on my upcoming trip in December. Let me know if this is possible and how to convert these files. I wanted to possibly share my files with others and I figured that mp3s would be better than m4a files.

thanks for any help

You should be able to import that .m4a file into iTunes and then create a playlist and put that file in the newly created playlist and then select "burn" and at that point, it will ask you to specify "Burn Settings" by a pop up window. Then put in a black CD into your drive and let it burn/convert the m4a file to an MP3.

This is the only way I can think of to convert the file without having to buy/install any new software.

Good Luck!
