Question about the Best Buy iPhone 6 deal... My husband is not tied to a contract with Verizon now but I am for another year. If we sign up for a new contract for him can we still share the plan? Is there a cost increase in plans with new contracts? (Sorry I don't know the details of our plan.) I want the iPhone6 if it really only costs $1 and ties us to another 2 years with Verizon. Don't want to waste time with it if there are increased expenses or it can't be done since I still have a year left and I don't want to lose MY phone number. (But changing his is fine.)
Is there really a $200 GC trading in the 5S? That would be great!

Also you are technically signed up for the 24 month Next plan for the "free" phone which is $21.67/month x 24 months. You pay for the first 3 months (something to do with fraud reduction) then after 3 months you get charged and credited the 21.67.

So the total monthly charge for service is $21.67 per month? Are there any extra charges?

I would consider getting a new phone as I have an IPhone 4s but don't want to increase my monthly cost. Currently I am paying $30 per month for unlimited texting and data. With tax the total charge is around $33 per month. I talk to others at work at some people are paying $60, $70, and even higher which is absolutely crazy.

If your a Costco member they are also doing the BOGO promo for iPhone 6S or 6S+ and a $200 costco gift card (mail in), Im going to do it, but they were closing in 15 mins and I was going to use the the other phone for an upgrade for my husband and he was trying to figure out a way not to activate it then since it would be a surprise for him. Offer good until 12/31.

I don't know yet I will check my next bill. There were 3 paydown options: 24 months, 18 months & 12 months.
So perhaps people paying more have the shorter duration? Also the above price is for a 64G phone. I think there's a more expensive one also. It may also vary in different areas of the country.

Not for service, for the phone itself. The phone service charge is separate.

Exactly. This is simply for getting the upgraded phone. The price of our service/data plan is unchanged.
