I have an iphone 4 and when I went to the world I found that my battery life just wasnt cutting it.. i am a heavy user of my phone normally and so half way through the day i have to charge my phone (i blame disradio... since I stream it most days) so I've been looking for solutions that are budget worthy and i think this might be my solution and so I was wondering if any one else has used this before with the iphone its the Energizer Energi to Go Portable Case Charger for AT&T and Verizon iPhone 4 (Black) I found it on amazon for about 28$..

my questions are.. do you use it just as a reg case and when the phone starts to die does it automatically charge it or as the phone starts to die do you slip it into this case?

any input would be awesome.. or if you have other products that you use that weren't like a $100 since im trying to stay budget friendly to my budget :thumbsup2

:) DH and I have the 3GS phones and I conserve my battery by using the Airplane Mode. My battery gets drained where I work becasue it is always searching. This my be a stupid idea but it works for me. Maybe you could just use it certain times of the day. :confused3

It has really helped. Every now and then I forget to cut it off. It would be very cheap to do. :thumbsup2

:) OF course there is always the.....buy all the parade and park music while I am in WDW and load them into ITunes so I don't have to stream DIS Radio idea.....but I know how addicting it is...I am streaming DTunes Radio--parade music right now--Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade.

But I also own the CD with that music so I can listen to it anywhere--yes, I am a Disney Music Freak. :cloud9: now back to your thread.....

well at work i am able to keep the phone pulled in when i need to but while i was at the world in may trying to keep up with my lines app and several other things during the day it would wear my battery dry by early afternoon so i am hoping to find remedies since i do not generally eat table service meals so charging while im eating isnt an option

i also like to stream my phone while im stuck in traffic it helps me get to my happy place and slightly curb road rage :rolleyes1

do you shut down your apps that your not using? that saves alot of power
(if you dont know how double tap the home key then youll see the open apps at the bottom of the screen hold one of them like your going to move it and a "x" will appear you can exit out of the ones thats your not using so they arent running in the background ...they will not delete the apps so you know)

Every one of these that I have seen acts as an additional power source - you plug your phone into it and use it as a case, and it just doubles (or better) your battery life. It stays connected the whole time, and keeps it constantly charged. Just use it as a case, it takes care of the rest.

I have a battery pack/case for my iPhone and love it. Yes it doubles the thickness of the phone but it has 3x the normal iPhone battery in it. Mine has a button to turn the pack on/off. I normally let it my phone drop down to like 20% then slide it in and about an hour later I'm full again. Look for the highest mAh that is the highest capacity.

I got this after getting tired of searching for open wallplugs at the Disneyland in every nook and cranny so that I can charge my dying smartphone.

http://www.amazon.com/New-Trent-iDu...0Q42/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1319673065&sr=8-7

At Amazon, it costs $43 with free shipping.

The external battery pack has 2 USB plugs that can charge 2 phones at the same time and is a little bit bigger then the size of an IPhone 3GS. It's powerful enough to provide at least 2-3 full charges for a Smartphone per day and is small and light enough to stick in your purse or backpack.....then you can bring it back to the hotel to charge over night.

Please note that this isn't one of those smaller external battery packs...it stores 5000 Ahm of battery charge ( the Energizer Battery pack stores 2000 Ahm ). I'm not sure how much battery charge an IPhone 4S or Android Smartphone needs ( likely closer to 1500 to 2000 Ahm for each SmartPhone )....but I'm pretty sure that it can fully charge at least 2 of the heavy-duty Smartphones. It may take time to fully charge a phone...but you can simply plug it in...stick it in your backpack and it will charge your phone long enough to last the rest of the day. The real benefit is that it has 2 USB ports...which means that you can charge 2 Smartphones at the same time.

This is easily the most useful travel accessory that I have purchased.

Wow...thank you so much for this! I had the 3GS and bought the 4 about four months ago and couldn't figure out why my battery was dying so quickly! I am not one to read the manual...I only watched the video on YouTube about all the new features. I just checked and I was running every single app that I have in the background!

I tried to buy one of these last weekend and the guy in the electronics department told me I'd void my iPhone warranty. Anyone heard anything along these lines? I use a dozen different charger right now for my iPhone... why would an external battery charger void the warranty? It's not like I'm jailbreaking my phone.

I guess by the time the charger would get heavy use, my iPhone won't be under warranty anyway. I'm getting one.

Thank you for sharing this info! Every one of my apps was running...I had no idea. I am surprised I even made it through the day without charging:confused3

Thank you:worship:
