Ok, I am looking for a new phone and have whittled it down to the Iphone 3Gs or the soon to be released balckberry Storm 2

Do I go with which one?
Both are 32GB, Storm 2 has replaceable battery and memory card slots, iphone 3Gs has the Apple apps.

If you have the iphone3Gs or the current Storm, what is the reception like? etx...

TIA

Damn! I have posted in the wrong forum, meant to put in community, can a mod move please?

For me the iphone has great reception. I did have the original storm but never got used to Blackberry. ( I returned to iphone) I love the apple applications and ease of use. Touch screen is in my opinion is the best on iphone. I also own htc hero os android, a great phone but action is not as good as iphone and recption is not as good as it should be.

I love my iphone. I have always recieved great reception where ever I am, he apps I have are very useful and the phone overall is amazingly easy to use. I would be lost without my iphone now!

Love my Iphone I read reviews, and watched a clip on youtube comparing a blackberry to the Iphone and in the end the Iphone it is.:thumbsup2
Also the Apps are fantastic, and it's very easy to use..

Orange to sell iPhone in UK

Orange UK and Apple have reached an agreement to bring iPhone 3G and 3GS to Orange UK customers later this year. Orange globally now offers iPhone in 28 countries and territories.

Orange, which has the largest 3G network covering more people in the UK than any other operator, will sell iPhone in all Orange direct channels including Orange shops, the Orange webshop and Orange telesales channels, as well as selected high street partners. A pre-registration site for customers to log their interest has been launched at www.Orange.co.uk/iPhone

More information on pricing, tariffs and availability dates will be released in due course.

Im thinking about getting an iPhone 3G S too and wasn't sure if its worth waiting until its available on Orange. Does anyone have any experience with both O2 and Orange to suggest which one they prefer, especially in terms of being able to get signal?

I have the current Blackberry Storm (I also sell mobile phones) and would not recommend it at all.
We no longer sell the Storms as we had too many returned!
The signal strenght is poor and the battery life is absolutley dire.
I can not comment on the I-phone, but stay well clear of the original Storm.

Not wishing to confuse the issue but have you considered the Palm Pre which is due to be launched in October and some reviewers say is better than the iphone?

My husband has the original Storm and I have an iPhone. My husband cannot wait until his contract ends to get an iPhone. I find the apps great and love m iPhone.

DH has problems answering his and the navigation is not as good as the iPhone, blackberry maps are not as good.

Hope that this helps

The only thing that puts me off the iPhoone (apart from being part of the mee too brigade) is the fact that Flash does not work on websites and, err it don't have flash!
Plus the fact that as well as paying monthly, you have to buy it as well.
I will wait until o2, Ornage and Vodafone are fighting for my business I think!

there is also the HTC HD 2 coming out supposed to run all over the opposition.
