IPad2 case

I need to get a cover or case for my ipad2. I have an M-edge cover for my kindle I love. Hwever, I need to get my Ipad cover from amazon b/c I have TONS of swagbucks and I plan to cash them in for amazon gift cards.

Does anyone have an otterbox? How are they?

I want a light weightish case that is easy to carry in a bag but also protective and durable. I definitely want to be able to use it as a stand for movie viewing on flights etc.

I have an otterbox for my iphone and it adds substance to my iphone. On my iphone I like that because it is easier to hold and is more protected. I have not seen the ones for the ipads but I would assume it would be on the bulky/heavier side as well. It will certainly protect your ipad. I am on the lookout for the perfect case myself. There is a website called ilounge that reviews accessories for ipods/iphones/ipads. There are also tons of articles on "the best ipad cover" you can locate via google.

I bought the smart cover for my iPad2 because at the time it was the only thing specifically for an iPad2. I scouted out a few places for the best deal and it was Target. I do want to get a pocket/bag for it but I don't NEED it right now so I haven't been looking around since March.

I have the Switcheasy Canvas in brown for my Ipad 2 (http://www.switcheasy.com/products/CANVAS_iPad2/).

It adds a bit of bulk to it, but it completely protects all sides and back (including plugs for the headphone and port), incorporates the "smart" cover feature and works as a stand.

I'm completely satisfied with it.

otterbox makes the safest case on the market. There have been reports of people driving over the ipad one otter box case and not having problems. That said with that much protection it doubles the size of the ipad so you sacrifice form and weight... it is worth it to me 100% i'm just waiting for mine to come in the mail the ipad2 one just came out last week looks great in videos!

I have a Switcheasy canvas case for my iPad 2 as well, and I highly recommend it. Use google to look for reviews - it gets great reviews.

I have a Speck cover that I got at target. I've only had the IPad for about 6hours but I am liking the case so far. I wanted one that covered the whole thing since I have a 3 year old. Not only do I want it to protect it from him, but his sticky leaky stuff that ends up in my bag.

Target had several covers when I was there last.
