iPad vs. MacBook?

but you can view pages that need a flash plug in (or however you say it) on an iPad. For this reason I would never be able to just go with a iPad.

I think you meant to say that you can't view flash pages with an iPad.

Thanks for all of the input! I appreciate knowing the pros and cons to having just an iPad for the summer. I'll miss this old (seriously -- 5 years!) MacBook I'm using now while it's gone, but I know it'll be back come late August! Thanks again!

I have an added question about the Ipad. If I buy the $499 one with Wi-Fi only do I have any monthly fees? Or is that all I'll pay? Also, can I use that at Disney World? Will it work there or do I need the 3g? Thank you!!

With WiFi only there aren't any additional fees. As for where it will work, only where there is free WiFi. I don't believe Disney has WiFi.
