My brother and I are getting my parents an Ipad for Christmas. I thought I might include a case with it so I looked on Amazon for one. There are so many and they range from $12 to more than $60. I don't want to spend a fortune but I want something decent. Does anyone have a case for their Ipad that they like and can recommend? Also, when you get the Ipad, I know it comes with a connector to the computer for charging, is there another way to charge it? I think it's too big to fit in most of the ipod chargers.

I think it depends on how it will be used. Will they use it as a stand to watch movies/videos, or just need something for protection? Will they travel with it or just use it at home?
Thanks, I will check those out. I have not idea what they will do with it, I think maybe they will be checking email, going on the internet or reading an ebook. So I'm thinking the cover will be mostly protection. I don't have one myself, so I don't know how often you would want it propped up.
I'm glad to hear there is a wall plug! I'm used to the smaller ipods that only come with the plug into the computer.

I like it. It's bulky, but it's sturdy. My 5 yo likes to use my iPad, and my 1 yo has gotten a hold of it a few times and dropped it. So I'd rather side on too bulky then not enough protection
