Hi. I want to bring my iPad to the World next month and need some kind of foam case or something, to protect it when not in use. I am a dropper (and a tripper and a spiller but that's another thread hee hee) and don't want it to break. I have the hard plastic (thin) back and the Apple smart thingy on the front but am looking for something I can slip it into. Can anyone recommend anything?

Thanks!

I have an Oberon leather case and it protects the iPad very well. In fact, we are at WDW now and I traveled with the iPad in that case in my carry-on. I am typing on it now and it is fine! :goodvibes

Another less costly option is a Belkin sleeve. I used that on my last trip and it also works well and is padded for good protection.

I read in another thread that another dis-er ruined her ipad when she went on rides with it. She said all the movement and jostling caused it to become "confused" and had to be repaired or replaced?

I can see how some rides would be a bit jarring for it (Dinosaur ride at AK).

If not using it AT the parks, I would leave it hidden in the hotel room or in the room's safe (I've read that they fit into the in-room safes in the deluxe hotels.)

Good luck.

I love the products made by InCase. I have a thing for neoprene sleeves since I too am prone to spilling liquids! I read a review on a tech site where someone said she dropped her camera in a neoprene case into the gulf and it floated, and the camera was 100% fine. They also are pretty affordable (to me) - if I'm spending that much on something, another $40 or so to protect is worth it!

Thanks for these suggestions! I will check them out. Also the tip about rides. I'm not taking it into the parks but it's really good to know that I really shouldn't. Besides, I just can't make that leap to electronics in the parks yet :goodvibes It would just be less magical for me if I had my ipad taking my attention away from the disney vibe.

I have the same thing on my ipad. The back cover with the smart cover for the front. I recently bought a really nice sleeve from fossil. I bought it at the actual store it is blue & really cute.

There are some really nice Disney ones in the park and resort shops right now. :rolleyes1
