What is the difference between USO and IOA ?? How long does it take to get thru each park on a semi crowded day with FOTL?? Thanks

IOA is more thrill rides...a park for the thrill seekers. The rides include rollercoasters, simulators, water rides, etc.

USF is where you "ride the movies" and include simulators, shows, and interactive rides.

I'd say you'd get through a park in about half a day with FOTL. Of course, things may change a bit if you decide to enjoy a couple shows at USF (which are worth it).

To fully enjoy yourself, I would say take a day to do each park. Now if time is against you, then yes, 1/2 a day should do it, but not really enjoy it, IMO.

Yep I agree with SpideyHulk. As I said, you can do the park in half a day...BUT, like Spidey said, it's not fully enjoyable...too rushed IMHO...take time to enjoy the atmosphere (lol that's what I do every trip) and soak everything in.

OK, If I allow one day each and then some nights to return will we be bored with it or what?? I had planned on 1 day each with some nights to go back if needed but it doesn't sound like we need to do that. We plan to get there Saturday afternoon and do DC, SW, USO ,IOA, and Wet nWild-all one day each. What do you think? We'll be there in March our spring break

allow at least one extra day to go back and do your favorites...think of it this way:

I have been to Universal Studios and IOA about 8 or 9 times last year...we HAD to renew our AP this year because we had a blast! This year we went a couple times before we tried staying over night. We stayed for 3 entire days and weren't ready to go home even then! I now go every other week and sometimes every week...all depending! AND I am plannng a 4-day trip for my birthday in November!!! Yes...4 consecutive days...that's how much I am not bored with the place!

Then again, I do spend quite a bit of time at a particular show...or just sitting and walking around the parks "enjoying the atmosphere." :)

Besides, you'll need all the time you can get in order to fulfill your addiction of MIB...hehe :)

Okay, forget the fact that you are talking to Universal die hard fans!!!!! But bored, never!!!!

I think you will have a great time. Also, as Fly Fly said, there will definitely be attractions that you will want to do more than once. If you really want to break it up alittle put Seaworld or Wet n Wild in between those days, but you won't regret going back.

Have fun!

I haven't been to Universal Orlando, and even if the ISO is new to me, I'm not much of a thrill ride person, although my husband, MIL and kids are. I think 2 days of Universal will be enough for me. I plan on taking the kids to Seaworld the 3rd day we are there, just for a change of pace, and I love the shows there. To each his/her own. I look forward to lounging by the pool and enjoying the beautiful RPR too. I originally had us booked at a house rental, but decided to do the Universal thing for my husband, he is so excited!

Now I'm trying to figure out if we should change our Tchoup Choup reservations to the night that my MIL comes in, so my DH and she can attend the HHN. They really want to, but I'm not sure if we can get those nights switched. She's only going to be at the park for one full day, until we move to WDW. Is HNN worth it? We are also going to MNSSHP when we move to Disney. We already have hotel reservations and I bought the 5 for 2 day tickets, should I upgrade them for them?? My kids (11 and 8) want to go too, ever since we saw the IOA special about HNN, but I honestly don't know if they could handle it. I wouldn't want to waste the money if they would be too scared, especially the younger one.
