We will be there the Tues-Thurs of Thanksgiving week. We won't have early entry or express passes. Can anyone give me advice on the rides with the longest waits and when the best time is to ride them? We are a family of 4 with girls 12 & 17. I am usually an uber Disney planner, but we haven't been to Universal in a long time and I have been swamped at work. Now the trip is almost here and I'm freaking out a little. LOL! TIA!

Longest waits by far are Minion Mayhem on the Universal side and Kong on the IOA side (since it's new). Then the Potter rides (Forbidden Journey and Gringotts) can have long lines as the day goes on.

I would recommend that one day you rope drop Universal and go straight to Minions, followed by heading up to Diagon Alley to do Gringotts. Then on another day rope drop IAO and go straight to Kong, followed by going to Hogsmeade to do Forbidden Journey.
