We did this on Sun 10/5. The area is in suess landing between 1 fish 2 fish and the Circus mcurcus restaurant. The sign says 5:45 and they only let you over to US starting at 5:45. You then walk over to Blue man group and go through metal detector, then wait until 6:30 to get into US. When we were there they were only letting 10 people at a time through the barricade to the ticket takers. Separating lots of parties (myself and my Dh who has Cerebral Palsy included). Was told to just go and he would meet me inside. He walks with a limp, and can fall easy. They would not let me wait by the barricade, I had to walk over to the ticket takers then when they let the next group out, run back to make sure he didn't fall. IMO it was not thought out well, or executed well. It lets you out next to Jimmy Neutron (right before The Path of the Wicked)
It is not roped off so I am sure you can get there when you are done. We got there at 5 and were in the first 25 or so people to go over, people who just walked up at 5:45 were only a few people behind us
