Hello all --

I am in charge of planning a trip to Universal for myself and friends and we are now about a week away from our day at IOA. I have been dutifully reading as many posts about Harry Potter land as possible, as this seems to be the only area of the park that will require any fore planning. Below is the plan I have pieced together from all of your advice, along with a few questions I still have. Any help or advice you can give would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!

- We are staying on-site. Wake up early and queue in the park to take advantage of our extra hour. (Figure to get in line at least 1/2 hour before park opens).

- Go straight to Olivanders, everybody has said that lines here become massively long quite quickly.

- Hit all the other shops, buying all the souvenirs we want first.

- Ride FJ. QUESTION: I have heard conflicting reports, but are the lockers in front of the ride big enough to hold all of our souvenirs, including wands?

- Ride both Dueling Dragons.

- Eat lunch at Three Broomsticks

- Depending on crowds, wander around a little more, pick up the last little things we want to see, or exit and head to the rest of the park.

- Put all of our souvenirs in the big family sized lockers at the front of the park.

How does this plan sound to everyone? Any suggested changes/improvements?

Thanks again!

I would try to buy everything before you leave WWoHP so you aren't having to fool with the lockers. Ride what you want first and then buy stuff.

Go to lost continent at one of shops ask for your packages to be delivered to your room onsite or for package pickup at trading company at the ent to IOA.

It takes about 2-2.5 hours for the packages to be at the ent.

We got into Harry Potter at 7:15 the other day..almost 2 hours early!! We were staying at the Portofino

Yes do Olivander's first!! We waited 20 minutes when we got there in the morning. In the afternoon it was over 2 hours!

Great. Thank you all for the advice.

What time should we be on line at the park? Or what time did you leave your Hotel?

My biggest concern is that we won't be able to store the wands anyplace while we are going on the rides...how did you take care of this?

Thank you again!
