We will be going in down Oct 17th. We plan to go to Disney World Fri, Sun, Mon, and Tues as it is our 4th time there in 5 years. We were saving Sat for our "new park" day? since that would be the most crowded in Disney. We want to put a next twist in our trip and we have already done Sea World on 2 of the last trips.
My kids love rides but not scary ones. Which park is best for us? Is Sat a good day to go?

Since the 7 year old is probably boarder line on the hieght requirements for the thrill rides, I'd say visit USF. They can go on Jimmy Neutron, Shrek 4d, MIB, T2. The 3 year old may be too short for some of those rides, you may have to do baby swap on MIB.
You'll spend a few hours in the Curious George water playland. Bring a change of cloths and a book to read. It's next to the Barney show, ET, and Animal Planet show. The parents sit on the wall in the shade and wait while the kids have a blast.

Went last month, and my kids are 9, 7 & 5. I agree with Robvia. At US the kids can be just about everything they will be interested in, and with Shrek and Jimmy Neutron the newest rides are geared right at the Nickelodeon generation! Curious George, as mentioned, is AWESOME! It is enclosed (not gated) with only one entrance/exit, so if you position yourself near it, you can BASICALLY let the kids roam free. It is definitely a swimsuit area, though!!!! Plan at least an hour, and since it is situated by Barney, ET, Animal Planet Live, you can work it all in together.

Since you go every year or so, save IOA for 2004 or 2005. This year my 5 yo was BARELY tall enough for Popeye and Dudley---both of which he LOVED!

If I can help with planning for the younger set, just ask!

Patti

They will definitely love USF!!!! However, my 3 year old loved IOA too. Especially Seuss Landing!!!!

We went this summer with a 4 yo and a 6 yo and they loved both parks, but I think there is more to do for them at USF. Either way you will have a great time:p
