We will be in Orlando the week of 3/16 - we are staying at an off-site condo. Most of our time will be spent at WDW, but we are doing 1 day at IoA because my DD9 is a HUGE HP fan.

We have access to touringplans.com, which recommends the following order:
1. Spiderman
2. One fish, two fish
3. High in the Sky Train
4. Forbidden Journey

Knowing that we are not Universal Resort guests, does this plan still make sense? I guess I expected it to advise me to go straight to the Harry Potter attractions.

Any guidance?

We usually stay offsite and head to the Harry Potter ride first and then Spiderman. In fact I would think that lining up for Ollivanders first would actually be a good idea if you plan to go there. Some people say to go to Harry Potter in the evening but I don't find that method to be consistent enough. Sometimes the lines die down but something they don't, at least not enough for us!

I would also hit Harry Potter first.First ,you are going during Spring Break season, no guarantees that the lines will die down in the later evening, and Second, Forbidden journey ( can and does) sometimes go down for technical issues, it would be a shame to leave it for later in the day only to find out the ride is down..Ollivanders wand shop should be your first stop. The line builds fast, stays long and since they only take 15-20 people into the showroom at a time leads to ling buildups in line. The line is outside in the sun .Forbidden journey also gets lines, but it moves fast and the line is the tour thru the castle.

Thanks so much. I think we'll start with Forbidden Journey - that is Priority #1 for us at IoA.
