IOA for New Years Eve

We are going to be at IOA for NYE and I was wondering if they do anything specail for New Years. We would like to stay on property since we are staying at RPR.

In terms of specific events, no I do not think so (though I have never been during the Holidays). I think that Universal Orlando does some special fireworks that night though. Oh, they have Grinchmas but that is not NYE specific.

Now, if you want something really fun, I here the NYE at CityWalk is a blast. If you have kids, you can't really do this unless you eat dinner with your family, have someone babysit them in your hotel room, while you go to the party. NYE at CW is for adults 21 and older.

You said you were staying at RPR, so I know they do some special things at the bars and lounges.

Unfortunately, IOA will be very crowded, but luckily it will be open to 1am.

As Andyman stated, CityWalk is the place to be for NYE...not the parks so much. They will be open late but all the festivities will be in CityWalk and it's for those 21 and older.
