Hi Everyone!

First timers to Orlando and we are getting *really* excited!

We will be at US on 04/16 & 04/17 and it looks like IOA is opened at 8:00 a.m. to the general public – right? We are staying at the Royal Pacific, so that means we get to enter at 7:00 a.m.?

I’m sure I will be happy with the early entry once it is said and done, but we will be driving up from Windsor Hills, after just arriving the night before from CA.

Can any of you tell me what time we should leave WH to get to the Royal Pacific, check in to get our early bird passes and walk to the turn styles for RD?

Thanks a Million!

I am not sure how long it will take you to get from one hotel to the other but I do know you're going to be exhausted! I would plan on getting to RP no later than 6AM to check in and get your passes. Once you're done there head to the turnstiles. I would recommend getting to the park no later than 6:45AM since early entry is at 7. If you plan on taking a breather during the day I would head back around 3 or 4 (whenever your room is ready) and take a load off. By that time kids are getting grumpy, parents are angry and tempers are boiling over with the heat of the day. By the time you head back to the park all of these people will be gone and you will have the whole park before you. The park doesnt close until 10PM both nights so you will have plenty of time to do everything if you head back around 5 or 6.

I agree with tinydancer. We did this last summer. We got to PBR at 6:15, checked in(actually got our rooms then also!), bought tickets, got on the boat and were at IOA by 7:00. But you should really get to the hotel by 6:00 AM. We were VERY lucky and everything just fell into place(front desk, buying tickets, and even catching the boat just before it left).
By all means go back to your hotel room early afternoon for some down time. One of the great things about staying on site is how relaxing it can be. Have dinner and go back to the parks recharged!
