IOA counter service - recomendations please?

My search is not working - I am sure there is alot on the boards about this.

Ny DD14 and I have free coutner service meals for our day at IOA. I would like some reccomendations and know where to avoid. We like everything.

I like Enchanted Oak, and Thunder Falls Terrace. They have great ribs and chicken that comes with roasted corn that we love. If you want burgers Burger Digs is good. Not much to avoid for us at IOA its all been decent to very good. I never tried Wimpys burgers and wonder if they are the same as Burger Digs.

The only two that would be full service is Mythos and Confiscos.

We had some great chicken tenders and fries at the Comic Strip Cafe. I was surprised, they were hot and fresh Applebee's / Ruby Tuesday quality and there was enough for 5 yr old ds and I to share, plus I think I remember they had different dipping sauces.

I can second Enchanted Oak, we absolutely love it, Burger Digs & Comic Strip Cafe. I have to say that counter service food at Universal is not your normal theme park food. Everything we have had has been very good!

I prefer the Burger Digs. Right in the heart of the park and offers a great view of the entire park. Not to mention, the food is pretty good too!

If it is open, the restaurant by Jurassic Park River Adventure is very good. It's something Terrace.

The Fire Eater's Grill had some great gyros, but I haven't seen it open in a very long time.

burger digs if we're just in the mood for a sandwich. it also has the best view of the park.
thunder falls terrace or the enchanted oak if we're wanting something more. I prefer tft's ribs and chicken over the oak's, but ht e view is better at the enchanted oak.

My kids are still talking about the awesome ribs, corn still in the husks and the great atmosphere. We got a table in a nook and it was very cool. Great value for the quality and volume of food we got.
