Invited to a Disney wedding

My friend is having a Disney wedding in Sept 2015 and the reception is inside the Nemo ride aquarium. May be a silly question but do we have to pay park admission to attend? Do they give guests a special ticket where getting in is included? TIA

No. Your friend will provide transportation that will bring you to the location from backstage. You won't be able to leave the event and go into the park, but you won't need park admission to attend the reception.

Thank you for clarifying for this transportation, do we need to stay at the resort of her choice? She's blocking off rooms at an all star, and they will be at a discount. But since it's September and I can probably save more than 20% with a room only at a mod, I'd prefer to go there.

Normally the transportation will pick up the guests only at the blocked resorts - but to use the transportation you don't have to stay there, but most likely you will have to go to one of these resorts by yourself and take the provided transportation.

Wow, what a cool reception site! I didn't realize you could have a reception at the Nemo Ride. Have a wonderful time!

You do not need to stay at the hotels that your friend got room blocks for, but those rooms will be at a discounted rate, so you might want to look into it
