I've read that Disney sends the Save The Dates to your guests, but do they also send the invitations for you too?

Disney does not send your invitations. (Unless you are having one of the new "couture" packages.) You have to get/send them on your own.

But you can get them from Shelly from Impressions, she is Disney's invitation lady. She has rights to Disney images that the invitations like carlson craft and the like do not. They are all custom and you will pay for it, but they are awesome!

Thanks. I knew that would probably be too good to be true.

Did you use Impressions, and if so do you have a pic of your invitation (if you don't mind)?

Thanks. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get your's from?

I'm sending you a PM of our wedding invite. Sorry to say, but our experience with Impressions was awful!

I made all my own wedding stationery. (My obsession with it sort of took on a life of its own and now I'm starting a business.) You have plenty of options out there to get Disney invitations through Carlson Craft at least. And if you don't want Disney themed invitations, your options are endless. It just depends on what you want.

Wow - you must be very creative. I don't think I'll attempt to make my own - they may end up being paper napkins:rotfl2:.

Good for you on the business. Yeah - I think I'll shop around a little bit. I'm planning a Disney wedding for October 17, 2008 (if I can hopefully get this date) so I do have some time.

Thanks!

That is a gorgeous invitation! I really love the ears but my mom does not like want any Disney emblems on anything even though we are getting married at Disney :( Do you know how much they were? Maybe I can sweet talk her

back in may 06
Custom Mickey "pixie dust" invitation
they wanted 1,251.83 for 75

forgot to add this is without bow

WOW! they are out of their minds! I could make a similar photo design on photoshop and take it to a printer to get the raised lettering for much cheaper! I like it because it is unique from other Disney invitations, but my wedding dress was less! haha

Most, if not all, commercial printers, are supposed to ask you for proof from Disney that you have permission to use their images before they print your invites. Even though you wouldn't be selling your own invites, and therefore aren't really violating Disney's intellectual property, the commercial printer would have no proof of that other than your word. If they print them without permission from Disney, they themselves could be sued for copyright infringement.
