Hey all, I wondered what you are supposed to put for the address of the Wedding Pavilion, and also the Atlantic Dance Hall...do you just put Disney Wedding Pavilion or is there a street address? And secondly, I wanted to have the invitation say 'In the spirit of the magic that brought us together' but my parents are hosting so would I put 'In the spirit of the magic that brought them together?' Howard & Joyce request the honor of your presence....but then it sounds like it's talking about my parents....any suggestions?!
Ok- invitation address wording. We used:
Walt Disney World's Wedding Pavilion
Orlando, Florida
On the reception cards:
The celebration continues with
dinner and dancing
at Disney's Yacht Club Resort
Black-tie
We sent out newsletters to our guests with directions and information about the location and how to get to the Pavilion. We hired the motor coaches for the night, so we didnt' worry about the Yacht Club information. You may want to send a newsletter or supply information in a welcome basket (if you're doing them) about the location of the Atlantic Dance Hall and how to get there from the Pavilion.
Second issue- invitation wording itself...
I would go with the "In the spirit that brought their children together..."
And a reminder- becuase you're not in a church, your invitation should read, "Request the pleasure of your company," and not, "Request the honour of your presence." "Honour of your presence," is reserved for consecrated houses of worship. The Wedding Pavilion is non-denominational and hasn't been consecrated.
Where are you getting your invitations? Which design are they? Read through them three or four time (out loud, too!) to catch any mistakes!
