We are working on our invitations. I was going to make them by hand to save money, but now I don't know. What did you all do about friends and family that couldn't make it to ceremony in Disney? Do you send them an inviation, even though you know they won't be there? Or send an announcement/keep us in your thoughts kindof invitation? Then for the at home reception invitation, did you include that with the announcement/invitation to the ceremony or have a separate mailing? Thanks

I was a bit confused on this issue as well, but from what I've been told so far--we should send announcments to only those we KNOW FOR SURE will not make it, otherwise, ones that we're pretty sure but not 100% just send the invite. I haven't actually done this yet either, but its the advice I've gotten from everyone.

I did mine in a three envelope thing. Basically glued the flaps of three envelopes together. One was the invitation to the Disney (Shades of Green) wedding, one a invitation to the home reception, the third was a rsvp card. You fan fold them basically and when they are closed it looks like one invitation.

Hey Laura:

Don't suppose you could post a pic of those? PRETTY PLEASE

These are actually favors for the wedding but it's the same idea. The wedding invitations had three. I had Disneyworld note card invitations that Purplegirl247 got for me, the middle i printed on purple paper with wild print the invite to our Mad Hatter Picnic Reception and but it on black card stock like here. The response card was on pink paper put on the black card stock too.
