ok here is the deal . My wedding is being held in the pavilion and then at a the boarwalk ballroom. I want the ceremony and pre reception to be fancy and traditional and then the reception to be fun and in a boardwalk theme.
1. what kind of invitations should i do
2. can i see examples of some of you invitaions
3. exampes of what i should use

thank you

This is exactly what we are doing! My ceremony is at the wedding pavilion followed by my ch at the harbour club breezeway and the reception at the bw!

Our invites were simple and formal:

they were metallic ecru and silver with a small pink crystal.

To bring in the BW theme our ch is well on the bw :rotfl: and then our place cards will be like this:

they will be white buckets filled with taffy and the cards tied as above.

All of our tables are named after major american boardwalks. We had also considered having a fudge bar but it wound up being too much sweets. Another great idea was to have charciture artists drawing the guests as the favors but that gets pricey depending on the size of your party.
