Just curious - what cruise line makes you so happy that you bought stock in the company? Not because you want to diversify but because you truly appreciate what the line does for you and others and you feel good owning a piece of the company.

Happy-Happy- Happy for DW and myself is MSC and since it is Privately Owned, (Third in World Cruise lines and 1st in World Shipping) no investing just giving our $$$$ to the cause.

I bought 10 shares of RC and Disney a week apart. Really can’t buy DCL.

I'd buy some Carnival if it was just about making money. They're a steal right now (assuming they can regain pre-Covid stature). But they are definitely not my CHOICE - DW used to be a port agent for them (and has stories) and shed smack me if I bought them. Maybe Lindblad? Those are cool sailings.

As for DIS, we definitely hold but that one is truly a "in it for the long haul" type.

I will say I want to try their newer Mardi Gras class ships. They look like a lot of fun. I have friends who cruise way more than I do and they say that the newer Carnival ships are a complete 180 from the booze cruises that the older Carnival ships are known for. (I'm certainly not against drinking alcohol but there is definitely a limit)

I love Disney and would sail them every time if I could but that's unfortunately not realistic.

We sail DCL all the time, but sold our Disney shares. We have owned Disney stock off and on over many years. Often making money on the sale of Disney stock. Not this last time. Lost money after holding it since Covid. Probably out of the Disney stock business. So many other, more worthy stocks to make money with.

I should clarify and say I don't think all of Carniva is bad - they do seem to have a few great ships. But that's the line that also always seems to come up in news with guest behavior. They attract a certain clientele on some itineraries like moths to a flame. CCL just isn't for me. But considering they own ~50% of all the bottoms out there, I could still support HAL though (DW really liked working for them). And if I could afford Seabourn (like I can so well afford DCL), I'd probably sail them but the idea is to make money, not spend it.
