We're thinking of trying this for the first time in a couple of weeks. Has anyone been recently?

I was put off after seeing loads of fish in pictures, but these were taken quite a while ago. We're keen on the HNY buffet and are hoping the food choices may be similar.

Love to try it in here to see some characters and be in the lovely DLH, but for the price it is I want to ensure we get something we like to eat as we are not fish lovers ;)

We ate there last month and yes there is quite a bit of seafood on the buffet. There are other dishes to choose from however; meatballs, spaghetti, cold meats, breaded chicken, salads etc. There are also lots of nice deserts to choose from too! The character interaction is great. We were there on Halloween and we saw 8 different characters in Halloween costumes. When we ate there in the summer we saw 5 different characters.

Thanks, I'm really keen on trying it but DH will not enjoy the buffet if it's mainly seafood. Hopefully there will be enough choice for him. It's too much money to pay if there isn't much he'll enjoy eating.

We ate there on tues and I never had any seafood at all, there were omelettes, different kinds of meat stews/casseroles, one was beef in red wine oh my I had to get me some more of that one. Potato gratin, mash, boiled potatos Mickey potatos, lots of different veg, rice, noodles. Chicken and fish in breadcrumbs. Wow I'm hungry again. Lol you will have no problems finding something you like. I don't usually have a pudding as I'm not a sweet lover, ice cream for me. :)

My DH and DD don't eat seafood but they've always found lots to fill them up. DD loves the choice of puddings. DH prefers the savoury things.

As you may have picked up on the Inventions reviews I am even allergic to seafood. Still I never walked away hungry from Inventions. If anything else fails there's still the desserts. ;)

I don't eat a lot of seaford (prawns are my limit!) but we always find the buffet at Inventions to be plentiful with other delicious foods! I'd say on average 1/5 of the buffet is made up of seafood, snails etc.. (My DD calls this the yucky section!) but there really is a lot of choice of other mains, starters and the best desserts ever!

Thanks everyone, I think we're sold :thumbsup2

I'm going to call and book this for our arrival night, Monday 2 December. I'm thinking that we will watch Dreams, which is at 19:00 that night. So do you think I would be ok booking the meal for 19:30? I take it the new version of Dreams is a similar time in length as the previous one?

Thanks :)

I think I'd rather book for 20:00. Gives you time to get out of the park and a little spare time, just in case anything gets delayed.

Thank you, don't know if our tummies will hold out until 8pm ;)
