Hi everyone! :wizard:

I was wondering if anyone knew much about Inventions. We are going to DLRP next month as a large group (29 people) and are planning to eat together in the evenings. We've managed to book a table at the Blue Lagoon for all of us (actually I think it's only 25 that evening) but our last night will be all 29 of us and we'd really like to eat at Inventions.

We've been told they can only take bookings for up to 15 people over the phone, so I've been given an email address to write to in order to enquire about the booking. I've sent off an email but for some reason I'm not expecting to hear back - has anyone ever done this before? It was quite a long email address belonging to one person (Marie Entere Tuffery I think?) and I'm not even sure I wrote it down properly!

Do you think Inventions will accept a booking for 29 people? Does anyone have any clear photos of the interior? I'm curious to know whether the tables could be easily re-arranged to accommodate all of us.

We originally planned to eat at Café Mickey but they said we would have to all eat the exact same things from the menu, which just wasn't going to work as we all wanted something different.

Hmmm... it would be a shame if we couldn't eat there as we all really want to. I think it'd be a really lovely way to spend our only night together as the whole group.

Any ideas?:confused3 Any photos?

Many thanks.:upsidedow

Sorry, can't help with your query Bonnie, just wanted to say Hello - nice to see you back on the DIS. :flower3:

On an other forum there is somebody who works in Inventions.
I passed the question to him.
We have to wait if he response.
I will let you know.

Just got the answer.

We get regularly large groups therefore its certainly possible. I advice them to ring with the reservation line (0033 (0)1 60.30.40.50 or to business solutions,
if they are company. They can come also on the first day at the restaurant or go to the city hall or the hotelconciergerie to reserve. I do not have photographs of the interieur sorry.

This message is from a waiter who works in Inventions.
His name in Rene.

Hi everyone. Thank you for the welcomes and the advice!

sjaakie, thank you so much for speaking to Rene for me and also for posting the restaurant seating plan! It's definitely encouraging that Rene seems to think it won't be a problem, however actually making the booking is proving difficult.:sad1: I've phoned the dining reservation line three times now, and every time I've been told I need to email this particular person. The first time I took down the name as marie.entere.tuffery@disney.com and the second time I spoke to someone different and the second name was spelt out as angele - I've tried both addresses and both have bounced back.:confused3 I phoned a third time and apparently the second spelling it correct - it should work. So I'm at a loss now.

We are such a big group that I'm worried about leaving it until we actually get there, but I can't seem to get the email address right. It's ridiculous really because I do speak French, but it's a long address and I can't seem to get it down correctly. I feel a bit stupid. I was absolutely certain I had it right last time I called.:confused3

Thank you everyone. I wonder what to try next.:confused3
