Hello! I have been lurking for a little while and have found more info in this forum than I have anywhere else! So thanks for that!

My husband and I are planning for a Vow Renewal in June 2009- our 15th anniversary. It's been an amazing marriage filled with ups and downs- four wonderful kids, two with special needs, and serious illness that he recovered from. We've got a lot to celebrate. It started out as my wacky whim but now, I think he's really fond of the idea.

We are debating between the Swan and Dolphin and a Disney FTW. The choices are overwhelming- we do want to make it unique and pull out some of the elements that would make it a wedding repeated- which is not what we are going for. We just want to celebrate what we have. I don't think we will go the Intimate- there are just too many people I love and who supported us that I hope will join us.

I'll be asking tons of questions I am sure since it's a year from our booking window. Will FTW even answer any questions since I am planning so far ahead? I have to, in order to pay for it all!! :rotfl:

Thanks for your help and I look forward to reading about all the wonderful weddings that have already taken place and will be happening!

Aww that's so nice. Good luck with all of your planning. Everybody on here is so sweet and very helpfull.

Congratulations on your upcoming vow renewal, Mo1973. 15 years has given you much to celebrate. I bet you'll have a beautiful vow renewal.

I had a FTW vow renewal (custom) in WDW and it was wonderful (for my 20th anniversary). I'm not familiar with how the Swan/Dolphin runs their events, but I have read very nice things about them from those who have chosen to use their services. I have also stumbled (literally) into a few outdoor ceremonies on the terrace of the Swan. They all looked lovely.

Give a phone call to the FTW folks and ask them your questions. Even at this early date, I'm sure they'll answer as many of your questions as they can. And the same holds true for the Swan/Dolphin. Give them a call, too.

Again, congratulations on your approaching 15-year mark. It will be here before you know it. ;)

Congrats on 15yrs!!!

Welcome to the Mecca of all things DFTW & more

we love all questions & there hasnt been a problem here that someone wasnt able to help solve .....so hold your nose & jump right in:goodvibes

I am thinking about this as well. My husband and I will be married 20 years in 2010. We went to wdw on our honeymoon for the first time and go rather regularly now it has been a big part of our lives and our familys as well. When I thought about doing something special for our 20th the first place that came to mind was WDW. gathering info and ideas currently.:grouphug:
