Just wanted to say hello. I'm a board lurker, but have never posted. LOL!
We are going on our next WDW trip in September 2013. Very excited!
I used to be a CM at WDW, mostly in Entertainment, from 1991 - 2005. I worked in Liberty Square quick service (Sleepy and CHH) for my college program in 91 and returning 92/93. Then transferred to Characters in 93 - 2005. I worked as a character/performer/float driver/coordinator in all parks except Studios doing things like Spectro, Galaxy Search and Mickey Mania (remember those?! lol), Legend of the Lion King, Festival of the Lion King, Tapestry (both) and so on.
I love going back as a guest, it's truly a different experience than going when you work there. We are actually staying at Port Orleans - Riverside two of the nights in September, then with friends the rest of the trip.
I've been so out of touch with all that's new at Disney since I've only been back twice since I left. These boards have proved a tremendous resource. Thanks to all of y'all's posts and opinions. I really enjoy reading everything here.
