Day 7 Last Day at Disney Magic Kingdom and Wishes.
Today was to be our last day at Disney. Tomorrow we transfer over to the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal.
We had a PS for Crystal Palace at 8:20 a.m. and debated the night before whether to go or cancel. We decided to go.
I have my usual early morning shower, then go out and see my ducks. I explain that we have to leave tomorrow morning, but they should be able to survive without me.
We get the kids up about 7:15 and are out the door by 7:40. We catch the monorail to Magic Kingdom and arrive at Crystal Palace right about 8:15.
We are seated within 5 minutes and have a great server. He tells us we have a great seat for both the characters and the view of the castle out the window. He is correct on both counts. Just as we are seated, the characters take their break. Good timing
DW can take the boys up to the buffet and get some grub. DD and I get the camera ready and I ask if she likes Pooh. She says yes. I ask if she wants to take a picture with Pooh. She says no.
DW and the boys come back with their food. Just as I was going to go get me some food, the characters come back out. And our table is 2nd in line for Eyeore. So, I wait and take pictures. Piglet is in the middle taking pictures instead of going from table to table. I notice that he is all alone. So the boys and I go see Piglet. Now, I can get something to eat, right? Nope
.Here comes Tigger to our table. So, I take pictures of the boys with Tigger. Now I can go get food. (and everyone else is ready for seconds).
Just as I arrive back at the table, Pooh shows up. We take pictures, and it is now time for the parade around the room. Good timing. I can eat while the boys join in.
Breakfast was good. Character interaction was good. Server was good. Good breakfast!
Now, out to the park
..
We start out with some of the rides we skipped the other day Pirates of the Caribbean, Magic Carpets of Aladdin, and Peter Pans Flight. Then, we decide to use the child swap ticket for Space Mountain that we had left over from the other day. DW rode it with DS(9) first. While they were riding, we went over and got a fastpass for Buzz. I rode Space Mountain with DS(9) next. DS(6) had no intentions of riding, even though we told him that it wasnt even as fast as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
After Space Mountain, we walked over to Toontown. The boys rode Barnstormer. DD wanted to ride, but she wasnt quite tall enough about 1 inch too short!
We walked around Toontown a little more, and then decided to catch the train and ride it over to Frontierland.
Once over at Frontierland, we walked over and watched Hall of Presidents. After that, we decided to go back to the Poly to rest since we were coming back later to watch Spectromagic and Wishes. On our way out, we noticed that Cinderellabration was about to begin. So, we found us a place to watch the show. We all loved the show. I got some pretty good pictures of all the princesses (and the princes too). DD loved the show especially.
Back at the resort, I took the boys swimming, while DW and DD took a nap. DW had started packing the suitcases while we were swimming as well.
We had a PS for Liberty Tree Tavern at 4:45, so we had to start getting ready around 4:00 p.m. We rode the monorail back to Magic Kingdom and had our early dinner at LTT. We had about a 5 10 minute wait to be seated. We had a wonderful dinner. The place was pretty empty. In fact, I think the characters got tired of seeing us. They probably came around to the table 3 times each. We had an excellent time.
After dinner, we walked over to Buzz to use our fastpasses. Of course I kicked everyones butt

. DD wanted to ride the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. So, we did. She enjoyed that a lot.
Then we walked over and saw that Haunted Mansion was pretty much a walk on. This is where we encountered the BEST CM all week long. We walked up to the Mansion just as they were closing the doors, so we had to wait for the next show. When the doors opened up, the cast member that brings the bodies into the dead center of the room just kept glaring at DW. He never said anything
.just glared at her. So, when the doors closed, he walked over and just stood right behind her. Again, saying nothing, just glaring. It was all I could do to not just burst out laughing. He was great!!

He just stood right behind her just glaring. And then followed her out. So, we rode through and picked up some ghosts along the way.
After the Haunted Mansion, we decided to just shop around a bit before finding a seat for Spectromagic. I found a few cool shirts for me and the boys.
About 8:00 p.m., I found a pretty good spot to sit to watch the parade. DD and I parked it right there while DW and the boys shopped some more. I got to talking to another family that was sitting there with us.
Spectromagic was great! We had a wonderful view from where we were. DD loved it. The best moment was when Alice in Wonderland looked directly at DD and blew her a kiss. And then DD blew her a kiss right back!
After Spectromagic, we debated on where to watch Wishes. So, we just walked up toward the Liberty Bell and watched Wishes from there. We could see pretty well from there.
After Wishes we just slowly headed out down Main Street. Yes, it was crowded, but Ive seen it worse. We hopped on the boat over to the Poly. It was kind of bittersweet, since we had a wonderful day, but knowing that it was our last at Disney.
We went through our nightly routine
.Baths for the kids, me going to get drinks. Kids fell asleep pretty quickly, while DW and I finished up packing the suitcases. Happy Limo was scheduled to pick us up at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow morning to take us over to the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal.
Tomorrow Day 7 Say goodbye to Disney, hello to Universal
