This forum has lots of different off topics that we Cdns discuss, even things like suggesting great deals. But people do not like advertising on here. But looking at your previous posts it sure doesn't look like you are trying to advertise.

I have friends who did one of these tours in Vietman and said it was very good. The tour ended up being only 3 people on the tour but they have a policy that once a tour is confirmed they will not cancel which is good as I just had my Adventures by Disney Tour for November cancelled this week.

Sorry to blast you... just having a bad day. Your post came at just the wrong time. As a PP said we do get people trying to advertise on here and it is very frustrating. I can appreciate you're just trying to help out others. One suggestion is that you start a post with "OT - " for off topic. Then we'll definitely know that your thread is non-Disney releated and we can choose to read it or not.

I, for one, appreciate you letting us know of a travel sale. I travel all over the world and I don't mean just Disneyworld.

Also I didn't know it was a disboard rule that you have to state OT in the heading?? Perhaps AndyMcV is a moderator for this board?

Nope I think AndyMcV just had his panties in a knot all kudos for apologizing. No need to put OT in the subject.. it is pretty obvious that this was not a Disney related thread.. and even if it was not obvious, then all a reader needs to do is move on to another thread simple as that
Intrepid is a well recognized adventure travel company and I only wish that I could have taken advantage of those great deals

It is odd that if you google "rachelmed" you get quite a few hits where he/she has posted in quite a few forums for the sole purpose of promoting this sale. All late June join dates. Very few posts.

I just find it odd. Just wanted to back up AndyMcV that I find it odd too. But anyways, whatever Rachelmed's intentions, if it is a bona fide deal that is going to help a forum member, then rock on.

Hey, I don't mind if people promo their business and it's not against forum rules. Just don't pretend. Gawd knows I've surfed my fair share of forums and this type of activity is called "shilling". Pretty overt to me. But you are entitled to make up your own mind.

And post count is irrelevant. I don't care if someone has 4 posts or 4000. I come here to get my Disney fix, get some leads on some great deals and hopefully provide some useful advice too.

All I am saying is to be critical in what you read. Just because it's posted on the Internet doesn't me it's true...
