Intimate Wedding - cost?

For those with a Disney Intimate Wedding plan, or already had one, could you take a moment to help me with costs. The website says it's $3500 for the wedding package, 4 nights hotel, and park passes. Is it possible to book only the wedding stuff, and then book the hotel and park passes separately at a discounted price, if possible? Basically, I'm on a limited budget and don't want to spend a lot of unecessary money. If anyone has any advice, please help. Thanks!!

Yes it is possible to book the wedding and accommodation separately, this is known as a add on wedding package.

It depends on what you want, I am having the add on package at the wedding pavillion and this is $3,100 but I know its less for places like sun set pointe etc, im sure someone will be able to tell you the price.

You have to have at least 4 nights accommodation at Disney for them to book the wedding, they will need you reservation number when you book.

A good when to get a discount on room rates is an annual pass, we did this and saved ourselves well over $500.

For my Intimate Add-on in May at the Yacht Club Gazebo it will be $2350. And when you do book the add-on they want your reservation number and do check it so if you are leaning towards this, book the room now! HTH

Thanks for your help! I finally talked to the Disney Wedding Travel Person yesterday and they said it would be $2300 for an Add-on. Now, I just have to get the rooms booked!
How did you guys book your room? Through a travel agent? Online? Is it a minimum of 4 nights stay at a WDW resort?

Well, in the process of trying to figure out where to get married my fiance and I decided we wanted to stay at Disney World for a few days and then go on the Disney Cruise, so we booked a land/sea vacation as the honeymoon through DreamsUnlimited Travel. Once I had that booked and paid the deposit I called FTW and booked the wedding.
