What kind of invitations did you send out if you just had an intimate ceremony? and how did you word them? I dont know if I need to go all out or what with these.

any advice or ideas would be great!

I kept ours very simple: http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=17912274&postcount=23 I put the invite on a piece of vellum inside some Disney wedding notecards. Pretty sure the notecards are discontinued now though. But you get the idea...

The Mickey head silhouette was traced for me by an artist friend off the back of the notecards and I used it on everything: invites, programs, directions, etc. etc. I didn't want to blow the budget on invitations for so few people, especially since we only had family members and I decided they weren't discriminating enough to merit anything fancy anyway. ;)

If interested ,the fairy tale wedding post cards can be found on ebay. Don't know how many you need. Good luck.

We aren't sending invitations. Since it's only a few family and close friends I just talked to them first and then typed a really nice email with links to hotel and ticket info as well as disney sites that they might find interesting. I plan to make wedding announcements from our photos when we get home.

I am using exactly what purplegirl247 used-- the wedding notecards...nabbed them on Ebay! Thanks Christine! :thumbsup2 We are only going to have to send out about 7 invites, so there is no need for me to order anything too fancy, mostly family.

I made my own invitations. For the wording, it was pretty formal based on invitation wording I found on a wedding website. Here's what they looked like:

Chantelle- your are THE most awesome classy Disney invitations I have seen yet!! You could make serious $$ (from me for sure!) for creating these for us!!
