Intimate Cake Size?

This may seem like a weird question, but does anyone know the approximate diameter of the top layer of the standard intimate cake?

I'm looking into cake toppers (haven't decided if I want to stick w/ M&M yet!) and I'm not sure what size to go for.

I would guess (from memory) that the top layer is about 6" in diameter...

I checked my picture and guessed the topper to be about 4"-5" at the widest...and it just fit on top of the cake.

Hope that helps...and I hope they haven't changed the cake size!

The standard intimate cake is a 6" diameter over a 10" diameter. The cake comes with a white chocolate disk on the top to prevent the icing from messing up your topper.

Thank you both! That seems like a pretty good size cake! My coordinator told me that it would be fine for all 20 people...we're not all big cake eaters, so I'm guessing it should be fine!

We had 13 people at our vow renewal last week. We gave the whole top layer of our cake to the concierge staff and threw out at least half of the bottom layer. There was a lot of cake!!! You'll have plenty for 20 people from the bottom layer and still have our top layer for later.
