For all those intimate brides out there.....which bouquet are you (or did you) choose for your wedding and why? Were you pleased with it?

Also, did your husband's boutinnere match exactly with your bouquet (for example, on the intimate wedding website, there are 5 bouquet choices and 5 boutenniere chouces, and it seems like they go together, like 1 goes with 1, 2 goes with 2, etc.).

Finally, are there any intimate brides that have or are going to try to upgrade their bouquet at all? And if you are doing this, how expensive is it?

Thanks!

i had the mixed french style bouquet in pink and ivory, it was gorgeous, bit heavy though!!! gary had the matching one, it was just a plain ivory rose, but it looked exactly like the ones in my bouquet. the link it is my signature. picture numbers 19 and 119 show the flowers best

I went with a completely different bouquet, and it was silk. I just sent Disney floral an email with a pic of the bouquet I wanted and they duplicated it. I wasn't charged any extra, although I thought I was supposed to be charge a "change fee" for the silk, but I never was. My husbands boutinerre and Maid of Honor were the same flowers from my bouquet, not the whole bouquet, but flowers from my bouquet were in the there.

Hi

I had the red rose bouquet - and DH had the matching single rose boutinniere(sp)

The bouquet was huge - about 3 dozen roses - and weighed a ton - it was beautiful.

Disney will work with you A LOT more on the intimate bouquets than almost anything else!

I chose the "garden" bouquet and it was BEAUTIFUL!! It was exactly what I wanted (lots of pastel colors) and I was very pleased. I had also used the pic of that bouquet from the Disney website, and some other brides and made myself a floral headpiece (wreath) with silk flowers. Everyone was surprised at how well it matched considering I really didn't know how my bouquet would look!

When you talk to Disney about floral options, talk to Rosie...she is the BEST!! She will help you decide on colors and options...you will not be disappointed.

When I was looking at the Disney site the matching boutonierre for the garden bouquet was just one white rose. Since my DH was going to be wearing a white linen shirt, I wanted the boutonierre to have a little color, they changed it for me so that it still had the white rose, but added some blue flower to it (I want to say delphinium, but I'm not sure).

Here's a pic of my bouquet:

Yes, Rosie is wonderful! She was so helpful! I didn't really like any of the bouquets on the Disney site, I didn't want any ribbon other than wrapping the stems, or much greenery. I sent Rosie a picture of what I wanted, but in our colors, and what she did was perfect. DH's bout matched EXACTLY and I was thrilled with the flowers. They didn't charge any extra to do this for me. Just FYI the bouquet was so heavy I thought my wrist would break!

hiwaygal what a gorgeous bouquet :goodvibes

Thanks for all the help, y'all. So you think if I want to change my bouquet a bit, there is likely to be no charge?

JandJ...thank you! I really loved my bouquet...it really was just what I wanted! :)

TexasCourt...for most requests, there will likely be no charge. The only thing that might be extra is if you request some really rare flowers. But Rosie will let you know in advance if it's going to cost more, then get back to you on the cost.

Thanks guys, all your bouquets are gorgeous! :goodvibes Is the red rose bouquet really filled with 3 dozen roses?!?! That is crazy! (But in a good way! :scratchin

I am having the french rose bouquet with light and dark lavender roses with light pink roses mixed in. Rosie said that there is a $25 charge for the additional rose color. Hope this helps! :goodvibes

I decided to go with the Calla Lily bouquet in the red/dark pink colour. DH2B will have a white Calla Lilly boutinerre. I lucked out with what I wanted being one of Disney original options. I probably would have picked it even if they gave us no options at all! Everyone elses bouquets look/sound great too!

I originally wanted the rose bouquet, but was told it only comes with 2 colors, and what I really wanted was many colors. So Rosie came up with this instead.

I didn't have colors, but I did do a lot of blue, so that's the main color. I also had 3 hidden Mickey's added for $6 each.

The boutonierre was a red rose, and looked very good all together.

mine were lilac & cream to match my bridesmaid dresses.
DH had a little bit of lilac in his bouttonaire too.
I also had 6 crystal mickeys put into my bouquet, which made it really sparkle.

here is a piccie. not sure if you can see a mickey though.

I am having a hand-tied bouquet of all Black Magic Roses. I wanted to add a few white stephanotis in with the roses and was told that would cost $50.00 extra. HTH

I talked to my EM yesterday and she is supposed to have the florist call me. I want either the Solid French boquet or the Fantasy Boquet that is found on the Custom wishbook, but want Fire and Ice roses added to it instead of the regular red roses.

They've changed the bouquet selections now if you look at the DFTW website. Now there are less choices and the bouquet and boutineer comes in a set.

I had a garden bouquet and I loved it! DH had a white rose w/ a blue something that I can't remember the name of right now.

I was going to have pastels but after a death in the family I e-mailed Rosie and asked her to make my colors bright and vibrant about a week before the wedding and she did I had asked at just the right time (love her so much for that) and this is what she came up with. It was super cool because of the yellow roses were symbolic for me as I'm from Texas. :)

I have been speaking to Rosie about floral. I chose the French style bouquet. I am going to have 3 rose colors (ivory, light pink, and medium pink). In addition, Rosie will mix in white cymbidium orchids and small green dendrobium orchids. She mentioned that the extra flowers will cost about $100. It is definitely worth it to me. =)
