So, I was at Target today looking for some good bargains and I stumbled upon the summer toys and pools. We have been thinking about investing in the Intex Metal Frame Pool since the local pool we joined last summer for $200 only allowed swimming after 4pm. By having some sort of pool at home, the kids could have fun all day long.
Does anyone have any good or bad experiences with this pool? I have read many reviews online and they are mostly positive. I have also been looking around websites for pricing. So far, Target does have the best price for the size we are looking for. I have looked at Amazon, Wal-Mart and Sears. Any other advice on where to look for a great price?

We put down sand, then a tarp, underneath it, but we never get ours completely level. It's fine. We're going on three years with this one. We had to patch it last year, but that was no problem. We have a floating chlorinator, and a floating pool cleaner basket. We also run the filter after we use it, rinse the filter cartridge every day, keep the cover on it at night, and change the filter cartridge every 2-3 weeks. We vacuum the pool about once a week. It's wonderful!
