We had a special moment with Cinderella at 1900 Park Fare on our last trip. My youngest daughter was 2 at the time and when Lady Tremaine came out for dinner she was very frightened of her and started to cry. Cinderella realized what was going on and came all the way across the room to my crying child. She gave her hugs and told her "That old stepmother isn't mean to me anymore! I have my prince now!" By the time she finished talking to her and giving her hugs we were able to get a great photo with my 2 year old actually smiling. Ahhhh... Disney does everything perfectly.

Have you ever been chosen as family of the day? If so, what special thing did you get to do?

Sunshine Seasons- Turkey & Muenster on Focaccia and Butterfinger Cheesecake=

What is your favorite daytime parade and why?

I like to watch Wishes at the hub, right beside the Partners statue.

What attraction could you ride over and over and not get bored?

Splash Mountain or Expedition Everest

Have you ever had a favorite ride that you rode so many times you ended up getting sick of it?

Well I'm not sick of it, but I think going to Laugh Floor more than once a trip makes it less fun since they do a lot of the same jokes.

What extinct attraction do you wish they would bring back?

/
I never went on it, but Cranium Command always sounded fun.

Is there a ride that you always buy the picture of you riding it?

No, but we do have a few from Splash Mountain

What is your preffered mode of transportation while at the World? (monorail, bus, boat, car, etc.)

Ferry Boat... nice trip over to MK from WL!

What is the craziest thing that has ever happened to you at WDW?

it's not the craziest but it's the nicest; one time we got magicly upgraded to a suite at key west :) it was awesome
what's the best part about wdw?

How everything is always magical and the real world disappears for awhile.

Have you ever had a really nice cast member who went above and beyond with something?

YES! Her name is Katherine and we still keep in contact! We met her at MNSSHP this last October, and the DH and I were dressed up as Jack and Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas, she FREAKED out when she saw us (we were the only couple of jack and sally that night) and would wave and cause a big deal everytime we walked past. We ended up going another night, and she was so excited!! It was really cool.

On the same topic, have you ever been to Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party at WDW???

No, but I really really want to go. It's my goal to go to every major event (Flower & Garden, Food & Wine, MNSSHP, and during December for MVMCP, Candlelight Processional and Osbourne Lights)-hence part of the reason why I want to move to Florida!

Are you a "plan every little detail way in advance" or "we'll just plan as we go" kind of planner?

We plan our meals, but that's the only thing that we plan.

Which would you prefer to stay Polynesian, Contemporary, or Grand Floridian?

Ohhhh me me me!! Contemporary!!! I LOVE IT THERE... we've never stayed at either, because honestly looking at all 3 compared, I think the Cont. is the best rooms for the money!!! (We'll be at the Contemporary in a week!)

How do you find out about the BEST WDW/DL deals, and what has been your best vaca deal so far?

bellebookworm9- ME TOO!!! I'm dying to go to Osbourne lights, but I live in Oregon, so thats not happening anytime soon!!! You gotta go to MNSSHP, we went 2x this last Oct, its now my new favorite thing Disney does!!!

I use a combo of Mousesavers.com, allears, the DIS, disneyworld.com, and we are AAA members. We'll also be using undercovertourist.com for our tickets, to save $16/person off the gate price! My best deal so far? Renting DVC points. It's actually costing me $25 less to stay in a standard view studio at AKV than a preferred room at All Star Music for twelve days! And for that, we get an extra 166 sq. ft, a balcony, kitchenette, and queen bed!

Have you ever paid rack rate for a room at Disney?

nope we always had deals or connections :lmao:
what is your favorite non animated disney film?

That's tough. I guess Mary Poppins is considered animated because of the penguin tea party scene, so I think I'm going for the Narnia movies! We are big fans of the books and the movies!
