For the rides I would have to say Adventureland...Pirates, Jungle Cruise, etc...For the theme, I would have to say Frontierland...and the area where HOP is...Colonial themed area...looks great!

Have you ever stayed at more than one resort on a WDW trip (three days at the Poly, then three days at Carribean Beach, for example)? What were the benefits?

When I have to speak in front of a large group - P-p-p-p--piglet... (and I used to be a corporate trainer! :lmao: ) but when I'm just with the fam - I'm usually as exuberant as Tigger!

You're my kind of person, stopher1!! :thumbsup2 :)

Unfortunately, no. I'm sure that would be fun, though.

If you found a magic lamp, what 3 things would you wish for? :genie:

:lmao: Since this is the DIS - here's what I'd wish for...

1. More DVC points (so I could increase the frequency of our visits!)
2. A lifetime AP to WDW
3. Lots of airline tix!

Since the previous poster did not ask a question, I will answer the same question from tiggerfan1.

If you found a magic lamp, what 3 things would you wish for? :genie:

1. Lots of money so I can....
2. Move to Celebration and...
3. Have a fun job at WDW!

Question: If you could pick any job duty at WDW, what would it be?

I would really like to work at the Tiki Room. I also suspect there not a great demand for that specific job so I may have a shot.

I will be dining on New Year's Eve at the Liberty Tree Tavern. What are you doing on New Year's Eve?

Won't be at WDW or DL :sad2: ... probably just watching the ball drop from Times Square via tv and then off to bed. Boring I know...

Which is your favorite shop at DTD? And what do you like to buy there?

My favorite shop is the Christmas shop and I usually end up spending around $150 on ornaments which doesn't make DH smile at all :rotfl2: . But this year he bought a Halloween flag there for the front of our house.

Do you ever shop at any of the Disney outlet malls and, if so, do you ever have any success in finding anything?

/
Yes, and very rarely - I did find a few clothing items (a cool princess pj set for my DD, a nice hoodie for my boys)last year at the outlet near DLR - but most of it was either too small, too big, or just plain lousy merchandise that I didn't want to spend money on.

If you were to stay at the Boardwalk, Swan or Dolphin - would you rather walk to the Studios and Epcot, or ride the Friendship boat?

I'll take the boat. If the boat is too crowded or takes too long, I'd walk instead. A little exercise doesn't hurt!

If you could eat at only one WDW restaurant, which one would it be?

Tough one. I would pick either breakfast at Chef Mickey's or dinner at Ohana. I love the dessert.

What is your favorite dessert in WDW?

It's pretty simple and silly, really, but I really love those Kaki Gori shaved ices in Japan... I know they're just snow cones, but it's the flavor mix that I love.

What's for breakfast today? I'm having cheerios with sliced banana...

I am embarrassed to say I don't know what tonga toast is!

Have you ever ridden in the front of the Monorail?

a DVC 1 bedroom villa yes, a suite at one of the Deluxe hotels, no

Have you ever had a Kaki Gori Shaved Ice from Japan?

Drive, 20+ hours. Would have to save a lot longer if we flew, and OT--- thankfully gas prices are coming down!!!

Who is your favorite character and why???

Have you ever had a Kaki Gori Shaved Ice from Japan?

I saw this got missed, so I'll answer it.
No, but they look good and have them on our list for next month. The cantalope sounds interesting...

(Next question above...)
