Yes! In fact, I had my parents tape it for me this year and send it to me. I really enjoyed it. They also taped the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade for me.
Do you watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade traditionally?
Dad bakes the pies and breads the night before. Mom prepares everything else on Thursday. We ALL take naps after the big meal, served around 2 PM. We always watch the "family friendly" movie that airs on TV in the evening (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Sound of Music, etc). We always call relatives around the country.
We start by putting the trees up the day after Thanksgiving. Then Christmas eve with dH family. DD gets to open one present on CE and it is always pajamas or a gown to sleep in. This was something that I always did growning up. Then santa at our house then to my parents for lunch.
We get together with BIL and family Christmas Eve for Crab Bisque and then open gifts. We then make reindeer food and spread it on the lawn. Christmas morning, family comes here to watch Dkids open gifts and then we go to my moms for dinner.
