I have never been in December. ( I also love the Schlitterbahn in NB).

What is your favorite time of year to go to WDW?

October, for MNSSHP and Food and Wine Fest

Is your Christmas tree up?

yes. had to get it up before our trip to WDW.


What gets you in the "mood" for Christmas?

Our Disney trip and also putting up lights

Are you always paranoid before a trip that you will get the flu or have a toothache or something?

Most definitely. I bring a stash of "just in case" medicine like you wouldn't believe.

Do you DIS at work?

nope, I'm a SAHM!

What is your favorite holkiday tradition?

making christmas cookies

Do you stay home or go to someone else's house for xmas? (if you celebrate)

We don't do the Holidays like anyone else we know! But, we do stay home

What will Christmas dinner be at your house? Turkey, ham, or other?

ham and turkey (have to make up for eating TG dinner out )

Do you cook a big feast for Christmas?

Yes, Thanksgiving and Christmas....DH and I both came from mid-west families that did that!

Do you decorate your Christmas tree as a family or with just whom ever is around the house?

most years, it's just me and my dad decorating the tree. my brother and mom usually away doing something for some reason.

Do you have a special thing that you do as a family on Christmas Eve?

I always spend Christmas Eve with my Dad, we go to church with his whole side of the family and then open presents. We eat before the service.

Does your family draw names so you don't have to go broke buying for all the relatives???

 

[LaLa]

No, we tried that one year, but we all ended up buying our parents presents too (because you can't really have Christmas without getting something for Mom and Dad, right?) and they hadn't gotten anyone anything, they felt really bad. It was just a mess. So we buy gifts for EVERYONE. The list grows every year with each new niece and nephew.

Are you a night owl or morning person?
