Interview the person below you (Part II)

My favorite is the BBQ chicken at Flame Tree BBQ at AK

How do you get to WDW? Car, Plane, Train, WALK?

We take a plane and the Mickey Bus (what my kids have always called ME).

Is there a spot at WDW that is your favorite to get photos (either of you and your family or just of the scenery itself)? If so, where and why?

Hey all! fairly new to the disboards, hoping I can jump in on some of the fun?

We like to take pictures by Cinderella's wishing well, its a bit put out of the way so less traffic and depending on the angle you can either get a beautiful topiary of a view of the castle.

What do you think is the most romantic thing to do in Disney world?

The most romantic thing for me is to have a date night with DH and have dinner at California Grill where we can watch Wishes with a glass of wine in hand out on the balcony....this is something that we did a few years ago while grandma and grandpa were babysitting :goodvibes.

How many park days do you typically do during your trip and which parks are they?

10 park days......all the parks. MK=3, Epcot=3, AK=2 and DHS=2.....

Do you take any non park days when visiting?

Yeah, usually one. We sleep late, swim all day and go to Downtown Disney. We usually take it in the middle of our trip.

Which WDW hotel is your favorite and why?

My favorite is the BC because I love the location that it is in, the atmosphere, the theme, the pool, Cape May Cafe and Beach's and Cream are both there along with the Boardwalk which is just a stone's throw away.

What are your plans for your next WDW vacation?....where are you wanting to stay, when, etc...

Our next vacation will be very special, for it will be the first time we'll go as parents!!! Our son will be 10 months old then so we're planning to mostly enjoy being there and have a great time as a family! We're planning to stay at Pop for 10 days, in late september-early october.

Which attraction you would permantly close and why?

I wouldn't want anything to close but if I had to pick something I would pick one of the movies at one of the countries at Epcot. (since we never watch them - but they might be really good I just don't know ;)

Have you ever been to the Food & Wine Festival and if so any tips?

I have never been to the Food & Wine Festival :( I would very much like to, though! Some of the dishes look fantastic!

Have you ever stayed at a Deluxe resort? Which one(s) and did you like it/them? If not, which one would you like to stay at?

No I haven't but I would love to try the Poly! And to just be able to get on a launch and go across the water to the Magic Kingdom would be awesome!

What is the first thing you do after checking in?

Head to DTD or to a park if we arrive early enough.

What is the best resort on WDW property? Why (the amenities, pool transportation)?

Grand Floridian because it is PERFECT. Location, dining, theming, everything is just beautiful.

Do you enjoy riding the Monorail or do you prefer boat launch/bus/personal car/taxi?

Love the Monorail.. have to ride the circuit every trip! Boats are nice too.. on warm days..

Have you ever tried to ride on EVERY kind of water transportation in one trip? DTD, resort boats, etc..

No, but sounds like a plan for our next trip!

Which WDW hotel would you never stay at and why?

Probably Port Orleans French Quarter.. mostly because it has that "haunted Mansion/Marti Gras thing going for it and that creeps me out.

Do you get a Mickey Ice Cream bar EVERY visit?

No, I only get them once in a great while, I have to be in the mood for them. I would much rather have the frozen chocolate covered banana.

What is your favorite character meal that you have gone to or have to go to each time you go?

We like the Tusker House Character Breakfast - great breakfast and get to see Mickey, Goofy and Donald!

What is your favorite ride or attraction at Epcot?

Test Track, both older and 2.0 version!

If you were to skip one of the four Parks during your visit, which one would it be and why?

Either AK or HS... they are both 1/2 day parks anyway.

Has your child ever participated in either the Pirate tutorial thing with Jack or the Jedi training thing with Darth?
