Interview the person below you (Part II)

I've stayed at ASMO, POP, POR, POFQ, SSR, OKW, VWL (and VGC)
Love VWL..........quiet and peaceful and love the architecture, the boat to MK, the beach, the geyser

What is the least favorite resort that you have stayed at and why?

CBR.. it was pretty but a little too spread out for me.

What was your favorite character interaction and why?

one with Goofy........it was in a room and with my BFF. We got out picture taken with him and then he flirted and walked out with us............all the way outside. It was fun and funny. But their have been a lot. The characters can be so fun.

Photopass or not? Why?

We're big fans of Photopass! It's the only way that we're all four in photos! I love being able to just walk up and have a photographer take our photo. We have always pre-ordered the CD too (and did for our August trip), though with the price increase, I might have to rethink it after this trip.

TNP: What's the longest you have waited in a stand-by line for an attraction and what's your usual "limit" for joining a line?

The longest I can remember waiting for a ride was 2 hours for Soarin... and this was before they added the interactive games in the queue so it was brutal! We usually travel during slow times of the year in the fall, so our limit is 45 minutes to an hour.. good thing for Fastpass!!

TNP: What are your favorite distinct smells in WDW? I know I have many, so I am curious to know from others!

popcorn, Main Street Bakery and the piped out cookie smell, Spaceship Earth and Rome burning, Stink in Imagination, Stink in ITTBAB, Apple pie in Philharmagic, cinnamon almonds

When was your first trip, where did you stay and what is your best memory?

My first trip was in 1973 when I was only three years old. We stayed off-site at a relative's house. My favorite memory is of Tomorrowland Speedway because I've been a race fan since, well, forever. I thought I was really something driving those cars. On the flipside, it rained most of the day (it was a one-day visit) and Dumbo was closed.....very traumatic.

TNP: If you have children, how old were they when you took them to WDW the first time?

/
the first time we went my children were 10 and 12 (this is to WDW.............they were younger for DL)

Which are you favorite rides in each park?

MK- Splash Mountain
Epcot- Living with the Land (i know I'm lame)
DHS- ToT
AK- Everest

What is the best meal you've ever had at WDW?

I'm still a sucker for the mushroom filet at Le Cellier

What TS do you think is over rated?

Don't really have a favorite place, but I when we go to Kona Cafe I want to try their pressed pot coffee.

What would your dream trip be like if money was no object?

I'd reserve the Grand Villa at BLT, bring along my brother and his family, and stay for two weeks. (We're staying at BLT this trip, but in a studio, so I'm considering it a dry-run!)

TNP: Do you consider the monorail an attraction in and of itself or do you only use it for transportation?

I certainly consider the monorail an attraction in on itself! We do use it for transportation to and from MK to the resorts around the lagoon and maybe once or twice to TTC to get to Epcot, but I love the monorail just to ride around the loop and take it all in. I even have the tshirt with the monorail and the spiel in spanish "please stand clear of the doors..."

TNP: If you could spend the night and had access to everthing in any one of the WDW parks, which one would you choose and why?

MK.............lots to do and see

Stay in the castle suite or the HM? And why?

HM- just love that ride- sounds creepy but cool!!!! :)

TNP- What would your dream trip to WDW be like- Where would you stay, how long and do anything special? :)

Every trip is fine by me.........loved 2 weeks at VWL at Christmas..........did the party, Candlelight Processional, Yuletide magic and met up with some DIS friends. Can't get much better.

Which resorts have you stayed at? And which was your favorite and least favorite?

I've stayed at Contemporary, Coronado Springs, Port Orleans Riverside, Animal Kingdom Villas, Boardwalk Villas, Villas at Wilderness Lodge, Beach Club Villas, and am headed to Bay Lake Tower in August. So far, Animal Kingdom Villas is by far my favorite, though I might change my mind in August. We absolutely loved the theming and atmosphere at AKV. I got up before the sun most days and sat on the balcony, just listening to the animals. Oh, and zebra domes. Can't forget the zebra domes!

TNP: If you were forced to eliminate one classic at MK, which would you choose.....PotC, HM, or Space Mtn? Why?

Space............it hurts me....way too rough. Love the other two

What is the most exciting and interesting part of the new Fantasyland to you?

The Little Mermaid ride!! And just the fact that it will be all shiny and new :)

What hotel would you least like to stay at on property and why?
