interview for normal hours job

I am a RN who has worked 12 hour night shift for the last 17 years. Two job interveiws finally came through for a 7:30 am to 4 pm WITH WEEKENDS OFF!!! to those who works wacky hours and work weekends you know this is a Godsend. I have both of these on Friday. I hope to get one of these so I can see my sons more and have a "normal" life.

Congratulations; my wife and I both worked shifts when we started having kids, and it just wasn't workable. I ended up getting a day job, and she continued shifts for 4 more years.

It really does make in difference in your quality of life, that people who have never worked shifts can't understand.
