Interview #1 down...on to the next round!!

Hi guys! I had my interview today and it went very, very well. The assistant principal interviewed me and at the end said I will be going on to the next step in the process for the job. He will call me by the middle of next week to let me know the time and date of the next interview with the Superintendent and the 1st grade teachers.
I found out during the interview that the school has a 1st grade TA position open and a pre-k TA position open due to the 1st grade teacher being hired to head up a kindergarten classroom and the other TA left to spend more time with her kids!!
I'm so excited and grateful to all of you who gave me encouragement and laughs (esp. you, AuntPolly, for the laughs!)
Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping me to believe in myself!!
I'll keep you all updated on what happens!

I'm a TA in a middle school. I am also a teaching student.

Its tough work. Some days are really great, some days I just come home and SLEEP.

The pay isn't that great (thats the education system on the whole), but I do get great benefits, and I'm off when my kids are off.

Cindy B....I hear ya on the needing to just come home and sleep! When I was student teaching, I lived, breathed, and dreamt about my next lessons, the students, everything school related.
