Can someone give me info on the "internet cafe". How much? How crowded? Experience with teens (eg can they use IM?), Where is it located on the ship? I was on the Wonder 3 years ago and I don't recall there being an internet cafe.

As always your help and advice is much appreciated.

19 days to go..........

There is internet access in common grounds -- the teen only area as well as at the internet cafe (for all ages). The cost is steep - 75 cents per minute. For the 7 day you can get unlimited service for around $90. Yes, IM is available ---- and if your teen will be using IM during the week often then the 7 day unlimited might be the way to go.
:)

The Internet Cafe is located right by the Promenade Lounge, Deck 3 aft. I have never had problems getting a terminal except on embarkation evening (they run a special then with free minutes). It is not overrun with teens.

You can pay by the minute (75 cents per minute) or purchase an unlimited usage plan. The cost is $89.99 on the 7-night cruise and I can't remember what it is on the Wonder...I'm sure someone can give you the info. :)

thanks for the info. Can I assume that one unlimited usage account will cover the family? of course, only one at a time?

Dave, yes, you can sign in under one user name and anyone in your family can use it (one at a time, as you said).

Enjoy! :)

Is this something you can do ahead of time and have the cost added to your reservation, or do you have to sign up for it on board?

'Beano'

Beano, just sign up once you're onboard, at the Internet Cafe. There are instructions by all the terminals on what to do to sign up -- very easy process. :)

Emmett, there are no printers for guest use at the Internet Cafe.

When I cruised in December I saw nothing about the printer being available for any price at all but I did not ask either; did you have to ask about that Dave or was it on the instructions somewhere?

When SeaShelley and I cruised in January I believe there was a printer over by the Internet Cafe Manager's desk..... (his name was Alex and we called him Webmaster Alex... we thought we were so funny:rolleyes: ) I never used it so I am not sure about cost- but I think I did see other guests using it.
