Internet problem

What a time to happen, my home pc Broadband supplier Tiscali had a major outage yesterday evening.
As a result my home pc is redundant at present.
I will post any replies on my 'askme' thread as soon as I can, but it could take 48 hours I am told!

Ahh, that explains why my sister is offline....also on Tiscali.

Think yourself lucky...I wont be back on until the 11th (which will be 14 days downtime).

Thanks everyone, I am back already!!

There was an outage yesterday evening, but it has now been fixed.
However, I still couldn't connect this morning, contacted the Tiscali call centre and tried a few thing's, no joy...they suggested I tried a different router/modem plus a few other checks etc etc
Still, no joy....so I switched off at the mains , switched on and it work's again!
Just call me a techie whizkid.
