Internet in Disney CP

So, I have been accepted in the CP for fall 2012 and am arriving on August 20th. I plan on bringing my laptop with me to use in my apartment, but I'm not entirely sure how the internet works there. Do I have to bring my own modem and router in order to use the internet?
Also, I make buttons as a hobby and have to print out the designs in order to make them. Would it be a good idea to bring my own printer?
If someone can answer my questions it would greatly appreciated

If you want wireless internet, you need to bring your own router. If you don't mind using your computer at a desk in the hallway, they have a place to hook up a cable for internet access, but you need to bring your own for that as well.

As for the printer, if you'll be using a lot, I've say bring your own for convenience if it's possible.

Bring a router. If you play online games like I do, you might even look into upgrading the internet (which is an option available for a extra monthly fee which you and your roommates can split) but the regular ol internet is fine if you're just going to Facebook/etc. The wireless works fine anywhere in the apt, or at least it did for my apt.

I would suggest waiting until you get there and play around with the internet before you upgrade. I remember in our apartment, we had really fast internet for some reason. I could be gaming on my laptop, while one roommate was skyping in the other room, and another was watching Netflix, and there was barely any lag. But when we went to our friends in the same complex, even with the upgraded internet, it was hard getting any streaming going. They were so mad. One day they just showed up at our apartment with their X-Box and took over our living room.

Get a new modem for sure. Disney provided modem is very slow. Get your roommates to chip in and you should be able to get a new one for a cheap price.
