Internet Explorer question

I have a question regarding Internet Explorer---I think. You know when you are on the internet and you put a username and a password in and it puts up a box to ask you if you want it to remember the username and password? OK, well, under one of our names we accidentally (well, not really--just didn't know what we were doing) told it to never ask us again. Now that we know more and enjoy that feature under our other names, we want it back under all log-ins. I have searched under the help feature to try to find out how to get it back and it told me to go under tools, then internet options, then content, then on autocomplete, make sure that 'prompt me to save passwords' is checked. It is checked but it still isn't working. Anybody know how to help me. Anybody even know what I am talking about?
Thanks

Thanks Charade. That is exactly what my computer said to do when I clicked on the help option and it isn't working. When I went in, the box was already checked and it still isn't asking me if I want to save the username and password. Anymore ideas?

here are a few things to try if you haven't already

log out, then log back in
restart IE
restart windows
shut down the computer, wait 3 min then turn it back on

Both boxes where checked?

You may need to click the "clear passwords" because it already knows about the ones you've already entered.

are you logged in as the user who's settings you want to change?

Try putting in a different password. It doesn't matter what it is, but by doing so you should activate the "Save Password" prompt. Click OK even though it is not the right password. When it doesn't let you in cause you used the wrong password, reenter the information correctly and you should once again get the "Save Password" prompt. Click "Yes" and it should save the correct information for you.
