Do any of you kind folks know how much they charge for the internet at the hotels? (I'm staying at the HRH but I’m sure it would be the same for all the hotels because they're all Lowes) Perhaps I'm not clicking on the right links, but I couldn't find that anywhere on their website. :confused3 I'm staying on the Club Level if that makes a difference, but I have a feeling it doesn't. Any info you guys have is appreciated!

And just out of curiosity, does anyone know if there's an e-mail address for the hotel or for the club level of the hotel? Thanks! :teeth:

There is free wireless in the common areas at HRH. I think it is 8-10 dollars a day otherwise.

Universal uses Wayport for in-room internet

$9.95 per day expires at check-out time billed to room account.

from wayport.com

Typically $9.95 (but may vary by location)
Unlimited high-speed Net in a guestroom or common area.* Valid from purchase time until hotel's next check-in time in guestrooms and until midnight in hotel lobbies.

the email address for each hotel needs to be specified to the gm or employee there.

use their first initial and last name@loewshotels.com for it to get to the correct person.

which hotel do you want to send the email to?
post it and we will let you know the name of the gm of the hotel you are sending it to.

Thanks for all your help!

I found the e-mail address I was looking for in the deep recesses of an old e-mail account.

The internet is $10 per day but it only goes until 3pm the next day, so it isn't even a full 24 hours if you don't time it right. A bit of a rip off if you ask me, but it wasn't essential to my stay thankfully.

I have to work while I'm gone so I'm charging my company for this fee. Thanks for the info about the wireless, Damo!

You can purchase as many days as you want at a time so that you can have unlimited internet when you are there. It is still $10.00 per day, but it won't end at check-out time and you won't have to re-initialize each day.

I was just there and it was 9.95 plus two different taxes. Even the Days Inn and Fairfield Inns have free internet. It is time that Disney hotels and Loews do the same.

I will never understand why the cheaper hotels have free internet when the more expensive ones don't. We stayed at the Four Seasons in Maui recently and even there we had to pay for internet.

In the Club lounge, there is a computer that you can use for free. You can check you email there etc.

Club Lounge? - Not the HRH Club.

ref to internet charges. When I was there last month I read the fine print and Wayport claims that it charges $9.95 per day for each computer as in $20/day for two. I only had one so I cannot confirm this. has anyone used a router, and were you charged $19.90 per day plus those daily taxes on the internet.

There is also wireless internet - not sure if free - in the HRH club lounge.

Hi, I'm in the HRH right now. I had a problem with my ethernet in my first room so they suggested I use the wireless in the lobby until the problem was fixed. I do and up pops Wayport and their charges anyway! Oh well, the company's paying for it so I do it. The unsecured ones I found were very weak and slow.

They were never able to fix my internet so they moved us to a MUCH NICER room on the 6th floor!:cool1: Wow! We have a pool view (free upgrade with APH) and we can see the parks from out window. It's unbelievable!

Love this place!!

I've found if you want lots of free stuff, it's best to go 2 1/2 to 3 star hotels. The Holiday Inns etc offer way more than the resort types, you have to pay for the luxury in internet, parking, fees... you name it.

Go 2 1/2 you get free parking, a microwave, a refrigerator... but no luxury. I do both, depending on the budget and the vacation. I do onsite Universal for the Express primarily.
