Hi. Just discovered we need to contact UCAS University admissions on A level results day while we are at wdw. The question is,Where is the nearest suitable internet cafe near or in Disney? I think the computers at Disney quest have restricted web access, but not sure.

I know that you can get internet access at the business centres in the convention resorts for a charge.
They are:
Contemporary
Yacht & Beach
Boardwalk
Coronado Springs

Other than that have you though about taking a laptop and using the in room internet connection?

Sorry I can't help more however we always travel with at least a laptop.

If you are struggling to find somewhere let me know, we will be at OKW and have 3 laptops with us. Not sure of our plans on the 18th(I think its 18th this year) but we should be able to sort something out.

This is interesting to know - I find it a mite annoying now to be honest that you have to check in for your flight online on the way home. We are at the Hard Rock at the end of our holiday, wondered if they had wifi (DD has an i-Phone) or an internet cafe/ computer access in a conference room over there? In California this time, they had wi-fi in the off-site hotel we stayed at and also an internet cafe just a walk away.

I forgot to check it myself but pretty sure I heard that some places in Downtown Disney had free wifi. Think Earl of Sandwich was one, but hopefully someone can confirm.

Edit: Doh, you said Hard Rock, nevermind me, still half asleep!

When we were in PBH they had free wi-fi in the lobby area. I'm sure its the same at HRH.

We found free access whilst at the Boardwalk but this might have been because someone was using their laptop at the time:thumbsup2

We went to starbucks to use the wifi there which is free if you buy a coffee:thumbsup2

UK McDonalds also have free wi-fi. Don't know if that applies to US based ones as well though :confused3

Just done a quick search and found THIS site.
It gives you the location of free Wi-Fi hotspots and you will see as you move the map around it constantly updates so that you can see the spots in the area you are viewing :thumbsup2

Thank you so much Wayne, that's really good of you. I will be seeing you at the Dis-meet the week before, so will hopefully know a bit more by then.
We're not taking laptop so can not take advantage of WI-FI hot spots.
Once again thanks to all.:surfweb:

Don't know if this helps, but 2 years ago when we stayed at akl we needed a pc to check our fairfx balance. We asked reception if there was any where we could get online and they said sure there is. They allowed us to use their pc in reception.
Might be worth asking .

A couple of years ago we were in MK when we needed to do online check-in. I asked at Guest Relations if there was a busines centre at the Contemporary as I planned to hop on the monorail, check us in and get back for Spectro. He asked what I wanted it for and when I explained he let me use the computer and printer in the back office there.

Thanks for that. I will ask at resort Guest Relations when there.:thumbsup2

Also to say to anyone that is interested, DisneyQuest no longer have the computers. We were there in February and went into DisneyQuest to check my emails and got up there and the tables are all empty now, apparently they did away with internet access there a while ago :(
