Internet Accessd

My wife has been told she must bring her lap top on vacation (boss is definitely nondisney). We are going to the Wilderness Lodge Villas. Does anyone know how, and how much it costs to connect to the internet from our Villas?

if you are a DVC member and the villas are not high-speed(anyone know?), then it is about 35 cents per call. maybe a little more. be sure you are using a local dial-up number. deb's site has a list of the local dial up numbers. if it is high speed access, then it is priced per 24 hour period. can't remember cost. someone is bound to know!! the port is on the side of the phone; we always take a cord w/us to connect from the computer to the phone. good luck

We were at WLV in June and they have high speed internet. The cost is $9.95 per 24 hour period. (ie if you start your session at 5:00 pm you get until 4:59 pm the next day.

I did have to call for help because in my room someone disconnected the line, so someone had to come and fix it.

I hope you get to put the $9.95 fee on her expense report for each day !

I find that a little excessive. It should be free to members. You can hook up to AOl for a 35 cent phone call and a phone connection into the data port into the computer.

Thanks guys for the info. Told boss of the costs and he still insists. Just glad it is high speed (lot less time)
